No Longer there
by
Hannibal Finn

David Hannibal

"David Hannibal (Haunted by Waters, Samsara's Edge) and Kristina Finn have been collaborating on musical ideas for many years, blending rock, blues, jazz, pop, new age electronic and swamp funk into creations uniquely their own.  Smooth, edgy, atmospheric, and bitter-sweet -- the music of Hannibal Finn is hard to fit into a single category. "

Kristina sang in cafes in NYC and Santa Cruz with her partner Doug Ross (guitarist singer/songwriter on tour as an opening act for America, and jammed regularly with Al Jarreau in LA and was represented by John Hammond Sr).

Lyrics

I Walked a Lonely Line

I walked a lonely line
along a fast road
Slippery, and nice
It took me years to find out
I was on the wrong road
I walked a lonely line
talking tip-toeing 'round
I crossed the buildings on a tight rope
but you could never get me down
I walked a lonely line
along a fast and slippery road

I walked a lonely line
talking tip-toeing 'round
I crossed the buildings on a tight rope
but you could never get me down
I walked a lonely line
along a fast road
It took me years to find out
I was on the wrong road

Orleans

When your light is shinin'
shinin' like the sun
When your light is shinin'
it shines for everyone

When your life's not easy
well, I know it's true
When your life's not easy
someone will shine through for you

Late Summer Night
(instrumental)

Forever Again

For ever, and ever
When I saw you, I saw me
When I found you, I found me
When I see you, I see me
When I find you, I find me
Forever again, and forever over again
Together in the dance that we call life
Let's dance, Let's dance
For ever, and ever
Forever again, and forever over again
Together in the dance that we call life
Let's dance, Let's dance

Autumn
(instrumental with background vocals)

I Should Know Everything
I think I need to know all of the answers, and
If I don't know I will make you think I do

I should know everything
I should know everything
I don't know everything
I don't know anything

At work they think I know more than I do know, so
Please don't let them know I make it up as I go
I should know everything
I should know everything
I don't know everything
I don't know anything

Suddenly
Unaware of what is really there
How long have I been so unaware?

Suddenly, I can really see
The veil's been torn from me so suddenly

With my heart, with my love open wide

No Longer There
