Parisa Vaaleh

Parisa Vaaleh has an enchanting voice in the mold of traditional Persian singers which lures the listener to venture along with her into realms of mysticism. Her individual style of singing is a combination of Persian music and western contemporary classical.

She is a powerful vocalist who captures a new dimension in spirituality through fusing the music of the East and the West. Now residing in the Bay Area, Parisa works with Iranian composers, notably the poet and multi-instrumentalist Kamran Thunder, Babak Katozi, Payman Abdali, Arash Adelpour and others, to create beautiful, deeply emotional music with a compelling ambiance that crosses the boundaries of culture, live and on albums.

On her album "Fasl-e Entezar" Parisa's soaring, sensuous vocals are complemented by an array of contemporary and traditional Middle Eastern instruments.

Parisa has worked with several distinguished progressive composers including Kamran Thunder, Fariborz Lachini, Babak Katouzi, working on an entrancing, masterfully structured lyrical songs. Her interest in self realization has added an intriguing, spiritual aspect to her projects and produced truly beautiful musical works that is on the vanguard of contemporary world music.

In Fasl-e Entezar album, Parisa Vaaleh captures a new dimension in spirituality coupled with contemporary fusion music of the east and the west. As a followup to their critically acclaimed album Awakening, the World Fusion Trance Group Ashavahishta releases, The Ring on October 31, 2025. This album contains ten songs that melt the words and wisdom of Rumi into a tapestry of vocals in a trance-ambient soundscape. This work includes soaring and sonorous vocals (two females and two males) and master musicianship; mesmerizing, lush, dense, textural, dark, mysterious soundscapes with global rhythms and contemporary sounds that constitutes a compelling and groundbreaking release!

Parisa Vaaleh finished singing two new songs, The Innermoon and Entranced, for this release at Whip Records Studio in Albany, California and 25th Street Recording Studios in Oakland, California.

Nevâg — “song” in Pahlavi, the Old Persian language — is an X DOT 25 compilation album showcasing the best up-and-coming world music talent. From dozens of songs submitted in 1995, the label's A&R staff chose thirteen standout tracks on their artistic merit, assembled to work as a cohesive whole. The collection was designed to introduce gifted amateur musicians to a wider audience, open doors in the industry, and encourage their continued creativity.
